Portsmouth has been best known as the home port of the Royal Navy for the last few hundred years and with the large number of servicemen passing through it’s not surprising that it has had several strip venues over the years. The 3^rd lap dancing club to open, the newest, and quite possibly the best is the Wiggle club which opened in September 2011 at a time when council opposition seems to be making new club openings rather difficult.

The Wiggle club is the sister to a venue of the same name which has been operating successfully in Bournemouth just down the south coast for several years. The new club is very central {2 minutes from the railway station} but has car parking nearby. The club has waitress service for drinks and has the usual things like VIP rooms suitable for groups as well as individuals. It’s open every night except Sunday from 9pm to very late and has already become a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
